I was driving on Lake Shore Drive when I was stopped at a light four cars wide. I was in front and there were two others to my right and one to my left. The car to my left was a Toyota Carolla that was probably over ten years old and completely stock. The driver looked like he was just leaving from the office... I hope I never have to be in that position.
Anyway, the light turns green and the little Toyota just launched outta the hole and was in front of everyone including me. Those who know the way I drive know I am never easy on the car unless my dad is in it. So I was thinking what the hey. I gave it half throttle just to screw with him and my tires smoked, but it looked like I was calmly passing him and the other cars. So at 30mph it looks like I am just going through traffic a little faster than everyone else, but everyone else had a line of tire smoke and a roaring engine dispite the whole car only going about 3mph faster than the lead car. The Toyota driver probably thought I was just passing, but he got tire smoke too when I completely made the pass. I kept the car straight the whole time and everything, but it was funny. Not only did I pass the Toyota I smoked him. :burnout:
So stupid, but so funny to me.
