Apparently my radio tuner died and I need a new head unit.

No funds for a Pioneer so I need a stocker.

Anyone have one?

I think I still have the stock head unit from the FruitPunch. No problems with it at all. Also no charge for it other than any cost to get it to you....I am still in Maine but will be back in Plant City, Florida for the winter in 2 weeks ( about 40 miles or so from Orlando) and you could pick it up then. If that would help you out let me know. Dennis:)

How much to ship to 32822?

Just listening to CDs is getting old... I need my Cent. FL talk radio!

Let me get this straight. I offer you a free head unit and you want me to quote you UPS rates? I have no idea as I am 1500 miles away, now. If I have a reason to go to UPS when I get back to Florida I would be happy to check it out. Till then happy motoring. Dennis

:sorry:

I guess I am misunderstanding you. You are in Maine and the stereo is in Florida?

I need a stereo ASAP and I am willing to pay for an OEM one and shipping.

Not sure how to take your response, I apologize if I said anything wrong... just wanted to find a quicker way to get a stereo.

Chris,
If you have a 2003 300A, the radio from a 2004 will not work. The plugs are different than the 300B and 2004 models. It also has the clock built in.

Just my .02 here.

I must have an oddball car,I have a 2004 DTR and the radio that came in it is dated june 2002 and I have 2 spares I picked up dated mid 2002 and all 3 plug in and play just fine.Honest.

I know this, the plugs changed for the 300B. Where I work, we ordered a cd changer tap in cord for a 300B. The one that came in was for a 2003 300A. So we had to re-order the part and the other one was correct.

The 03 and 04 plugs must be the same because you can do the upgrade with 6l8t-18c-FD radio (forgot the exact number) without any problems or wire changes. Maybe this has something to do only with the cars with the CD changer in the trunk?

a 300b/ 2004 radio will work in a 300a. Their has been posts ON THIS FORUM about people with 2003 300A's making the clock display on the radio. Its just unplugged on the radio in 300A's because of the clock in the dash obviously.
