hi everyone. i just traded in my '07 F150 FX2 for an '02 Crown Vic LX. i have always been a truck guy, but the payments were killing me. i happened upon a local dealership that had this beauty for sale... took it for a spin, and i was sold. it is a total "old man" car, but i will start modding it real soon...

i look forward to lots of cool ideas from this site, i am sure you guys are going to have my money burning holes in my pockets!

We need pics. but I will say a tune and 4.10 gears do wonders for our big a$$ cars and Dennis Reinhart does make a supercharger kit for that car:D.

I've gotten a lot of crap from coworkers and friends for driving my "old man car" CV sport, but after they ride in it they stop poking fun at me. Unibody vehicles are sometimes just as heavy as a full frame car, but the ride in a unibody sucks in my opinion.. it's like being in a go cart. I like firm suspension, but I'd rather not feel every little crack in the pavement.

I had an 04 Grand Prix for a couple years, I just hated the way a fwd car drives, and the way they chew up front tires.

In my opnion the only thing better than a front engine rwd car is a rear engine rwd car!

I enjoy the full body platform as well.
Spending too much money on makin' 'em go fast, is hard to stop!
For the premier 2V tune see Lonnie @BOC I have his tune in the 2002 GMQ.
With 4:10s on street tires I ran 15.2 .

4.10's?? i will probably have to work my way up to that, and the supercharger would be great if i had the money! :burnout:

where do you guys put your pics, is there an album option here? or do you use photobucket or something?

top bar click (photos) then at the top left there is (my photos) you can upload them there. Check the classifies and Craigslist often you can find whatever gears you want usually pretty cheap.

yeah, the gears are/can be pretty cheap, its getting them installed that will cost from what i hear.

Ah i thought you had an LX sport, dont know where i read that from.

Oh well, HPP's are still good looking rims, they look great with the polished lip but i dont know if they still had that in 2002.


17" Sport rims would really sharpen that car up :D

thanks! since i have bought this one, about 10 other people have gone out and bought one exactly like mine. at least thats what i think went on, cuz i know there werent this many before i got mine...

looks clean you need some rims and does the marauder wing fit the 02's? I think the wing makes the panther platform look so much better.
