So I'm working on replacing the Blower Control Module like in this thread: http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=48707&highlight=blower+control+moudu le

The screws were tough but not too bad, unplugging the sensor made me almost quit and say I'll take it to the dealer tom but it finally came off (my fingers could not take many more attempts), then the heater hose..... I slid the hose clamp back far enough that I should now be able to remove the hose. That thing will not move no matter what I try. Is there some trick I'm missing? I was ready to give up till the morning but wedged the sensor out some how without removing the hose, but to get the new one in I know I will have to get it pull that hose. So what do I need to do because I'm losing my mind or at this point whats left of it. :mad2:

i re-installed mine w/o removal of hose.. but i don't have real big hands/fingers. i started the top screw and got in 1/2 way then i lifted the to insert into the bottom one with the 1/4 in ratchet/socket and slowly twisted and it started...after all done then re-install plug.

But if you really want to pull the hose, get some channel locks with curved jaws and twist the hose. Once it comes loose from the nipple from twisting you'll be able to pull it off.
