Haven't done any - this guy hangs out on crownvic.net and looks like he really knows what he's doing.

Price is right.

I had mine done. If I had it to do over again I'd probably just have them freshened up instead of going all out.

What I did: Ported, port matched, cleaned up chambers, oversize valves, oversize seats to go along with them, hardened guides, teflon coated valve stems, teflon coated cam saddles & caps, ceramic coated exhaust ports, ceramic coated valve faces, ceramic coated chambers, drilled out oil return holes, cryo treated and rem polished Comp Cams beehive springs and cam followers, custom cam grind from Comp Cams. Pretty much the full treatment plus some. Only other thing I could have done was the double-roller cam followers but that would have been another $3k. I did go with steel retainers instead of titanium because that's what was recommended for street use.

these heads are one of the best heads offered for these motors right out of the box , and there is only a small amount of improvement offered for a steet car, it doesn't justify the expence of pulling them off .

I did mine with the build.

MMR: Stage 3 is a race port, complete port in the intake and exhaust with a lot of bowl work to get the long and short radius transitions smooth flowing, plus a competition valve job. Added stainless steel valves, Comp Cam springs and Ford GT Cams.

Yes what B said THOUSANDS.

If I where to do it over again stage II p&p and stock cams. $850.00

Of course I might like the power gains but until I get this thing broken in and dyno tuned cant say.

+1, the 4v heads flow extremely well stock it's not worth the trouble if you just have a few bolt ons.

I think if it were me I would give call them and talk to Nick. Ask him what his opinion is and he will honestly tell you.

Yep, thousands

Link I posted - guy will do them for $1195.00

Options:

0.5mm oversized stainless steel EV8 valves with chromed stems and Stellite tips add $300

Install solid steel Timesert inserts for spark plugs to all 8 cylinders $200

$1695 - but you have to remove your heads yourself and ship them.

I really like the idea of going stainless with nice brass guides. Brian: did you get a dyno after all of your head work?

Yes, but not before. I did it at the same time I did the BB/S

This is what MMR does; prices are reasonable...

Stage 1 is a nice clean up on the intake and exhaust, light bowl work, and a valve job.
Stage 2 takes more material out more pocket porting in the bowls, with a valve job
Stage 3 is a race port, complete port in the intake and exhaust with a lot of bowl work to get the long and short radius transitions smooth flowing, plus a competition valve job.
