Like it's not been posted a million times before............

eBay. Look for a Crown Vic / Grand Marquis manual. I get mine from Lorie and Jeff.

There are 2 2003 manuals out there now.

I do have to agree with the newbie here. It has become common practice among numerous members to insult and belittle people when they have a simple question. This sucks especially with a lot of new people coming in to ownership of the cars, that don't have the vast experience and time on the site like members such as yourself fastblackmerc.

No reason to be nasty when you have the chance to guide someone who is asking for it because they have less experience than you and want you to help them use this site to maintain/modify their Marauders to their full enjoyment. The whole point of a community is comfort in numbers, being able to help your neighbor, and expect that help to be reciprocated when you need it.

It is not that you said it but how you said it. You could have simple said, "If you used the search function you will find a million hits on this subject", but obviously that is not the way you had wanted to phrase it so you came across exactly as he said you did and I think you intended to. I want new members to enjoy the site(s) as much as I have and not be driven away because people are condescending and rude to them. If the site behaved this way when I first started I doubt I would have stuck around and probably would not have met some of the great people I have from the Marauder community.

Like you also pointed he has 49 posts, cut him some slack. We all know the search function is not the best one out there. I know I generally have to dig through a ton of crap to get to what I want when I'm using it.

It was especially intimidating when I first started back in 2007. Even 2 years later I sometimes find it easier to ask a question again than dig through 40 pages of threads to find a relevant one pertaining to what I am looking for. It takes time to get used to it and learn how to properly phrase and isolate things to get it to come up with the results you are looking for.

th48308 yes check out Lorie and Jeff's on ebay, I have bought numerous manuals from them, they have great service, good prices, and the product is always quality stuff generally only lightly used. Also play around a little with the search function, it will get easier after you have used it a few times. I hope you find what you are looking for.

i found the chilton manual on a compact disk but i want a actual manual...any ideas?I know Chilton's USED to be really good, but my experiance with them goes back a long way. I always buy the actual factory service manual for every car I intend to own for a while.

As said ^^^, you can frequently get the FSM on e-Bay, but HELM, Inc. is the authorised distributor of Ford FSMs...I think hard copies are about $140. It sounds high, but I've already saved so much by having it, that it's paid for itself MANY times over.

BTW, stay away from Haynes manuals...they're worthless. Actually, they're LESS than worthless as they're frequently either just plain wrong, or they're so generic as to be of no help.

I think I paid around $100 for the F150 Manual and already saved $300 on Mechanic cost on two repairs and that includes buying torque wrenches and other specialty tools.

IMO, the DVD is a lot less user friendly, but all the info is there.
