So I'm cruisin south on A1A on Saturday afternoon with a friend in the car and a black Lamborghini convertible pulls up next to us, pushes in the clutch, races the engine, grabs a lower gear and takes off. I pick and choose my battles very carefully and Saturday afternoon on a busy A1A was not the time or the place for felonious display of horsepower.
So I look over to my friend and say"OK, He got me. I think his $200,000 Lambo might be a little quiker than my Marauder. But I'm flattered he felt the need to try to impress me". We both laughed about it a continued on our way.
Not 3 miles down the road, a silver Impalla pulls across the road in front of us, an officer gets out pulling his firearm and holding his outstretched free hand behind him to signal traffic to stop. My friend did not notice this happening at first and asked "why are you stopping?" I replied "'cause that man just pulled a gun!"
We watched as two police cars approached at hi speed lights and sirens blaring. It was followed by a red conversion van and three more police cars. We saw officers on the opposite side of the road attempt to throw stop sticks in front of the van but they missed. They were obviously disappointed. We got to the house and saw on the news where some lady had discharged a firearm in a Bar parking lot and that started the chase some 10-15 miles up the road. It ended when they formed a wall of police cruisers in front of a police station right on A1A. The lady still crashed into one in an attempt do drive through it. What was she thinkin'? Why didn't she take a bridge to the mainland? You can only go one way with the ocean on one side and the waterway on the other. I'm sure alcohol was involved. Made for a pretty exciting Saturday afternoon though.

I once had the owner of a Gallardo ask me "so is that thing fast?" and then give me a thumbs up and tell me the car looked nice. Nothing tickles me more than the owner of a $175 car telling ME my car, which cost me around $13k, is very nice. ;)

Awwww.... Shucks! Plot started good then just crashed! :D Was hoping you were going to say they pulled the Lambo over for racing someone else and drew their weapons on him! ;)

And we all know the reason why the guy in the lamborghini was picking on a marauder lol , because he knows he can't hang with a ford gt or a zr1 so he races people that he knows he can beat haha , and i realy hope he can beat a MM , he probably weights half as much as has more HP. Those cars just don't impress me.

Would have been nice to see how a trilogy car would compare to a lambo.

Im sure you would have surprised him.

With my luck, I thought I was going to get popped for his antics!
