I drove thru Tracy area once on the way to Sacramento. It was like 90 billion degrees. Wish I was closer I could use the dry heat about now.

Yeah it gets real hot out in the central valley. We usually average around 95 in the summer and have a stretch of 100+ degrees for a few weeks. Not unusual to see 110-115 degrees for a couple of days. I think we average around 11-13 inches of rain...so plenty of Cali sunshine:) Dry heat though...lol

Shine her up. I may not have the Marauder ready...having problems sourcing a 8 FRPP Bolt Flex Plate...the PRW one doesnt sit flush and has to be shipped back to MMR. I spoke to Lonnie over at Blue Oval Chip's and he has one in stock.

If the Marauder isn't ready I'll just show up in my S197 Mustang.

Cheers!

I really enjoyed meeting you and seeing your MM's, Mustangs. Just an idea, but since we have a friend in Santa Cruz, it sounds like a great place for a get-together. Maybe next Spring.

Cheers

Funny you should mention this; just emailed our new friend with that very same idea in mind! Yes let's do a cruise to Santa Cruz in early Spring 2010. Although today sure was beautiful!

Thanks Chris, Mike from TPS says high and glad those rims worked out for you! Great Pics thanks for posting!

I wanted to thank everyone:

Chris, Dustin, Fred and Rod for making the first NorCal Marauder GTG!

Hopefully we get the rest of the NorCal members at the next event/GTG! The weather will be changing soon but we will probably doing a "Cruise to Santa Cruz" to meet up with our good friend Black Bart (aka Fred) Spring 2010. But I will be posting other events/GTG such as the Brighter X-Mas car show and Dyno days...stay tuned!

Regards,

Brian (aka dohc324ci)

Hi Ho NCal Marauder riders!

Enjoyed the opportunity to meet fellow members and their families! Want to Thank Brian and his lovely wife for sponsoring the get together.

Weather was great and the Sonic drive in added a little nostalgia to the occasion.

Checking out each other’s MM and talking shop proved beneficial to all…gave me added incentive to pump-up Black Bart’s HP.

I see what you mean relative to the Redster’s DTR MM, it’s a hot color and just4kix03mm big black rims and super wide tires is a mean looking ride!

The rest of us in Black MM’s all share the same experiences…like when traffic pulls over as they think you are a CHP or Fed! Gotta tell ya I just love it.

Looking forward to the next get together and the Cruz to Santa Cruz in spring sounds great to me.

Maybe we rendezvous on the wharf and then an ocean view lunch followed by cruzen the boardwalk?

LaterMight have to join you guys for lunch! How does the Crow's Nest sound? Won't likely have my Marauder, but could prolly get a GM rental car.;) Keep me posted on possible dates.

Crow's nest sounds great to me, but it isn't a great place for photos. We need to find a good photo spot. Maybe West Cliff Drive for an ocean background.

Cheers,

Rod

Good Idea Rod. We will have to start thinking about a meet up spot for all members then a route for sure. Lots of scenic routes and Cliff Dive sounds good.

Yes, Brian. Keep us informed on the Santa Cruz run. Unfortunately I do have some things on my calendar already so hopefully it will be a day convenient for all.
