Get one from a wrecked MM or buy a new one.
BTW I have the factory CD-changer & cartridge for sale.

A "T" type connector can be added to the back of the radio to hook up a cd changer. Some who have done this ended up putting the changer in the center console.
i have a beautiful crown vic lx that came in cash 4 clunckers siitting at my buddys place, and it has the changer in it, but it looks like you would have to change the whole harness from the firewall back?
i was wondering if there was a way to do it without changing the whole harness?
like maybe ford put the harness in ,and its just shoved behind something?
or if there is a stand alone harness available.

If the CD changer wasn't installed in factory, you must add the trunk harness.
I plugs in under the left side under dash.
the wiring on the crown vic is tied in to the main harness , does that whole harness have to get changed?
