Would this be good for my stock tire size replacement on the rears?

/\ That one looks good.. (BTW I live in Socal.. and don't expect snow)
I really really wanna stay with Stock rear size.. Due to my traction control.

Stockers should be 245/55/18, not 245/50/18 as is linked above. Either way, the UTQG is low (280) on those and the reviews seem to lean towards them wearing out fast.
I would pass.
The BFG's with the 'modified tread' for Camaros don't look half bad and they're only $95 per tire.

I'm running Kumho Ecsta SPT. Stock size in the front and 245/50 in the rear. My BFGs were shot and I was taking a 1200 mile drive to NY. The BFG were on national back order at the time. I went through 4 sets of rears in 65K miles. I have almost 40K on the Kumho tires and they STILL have some tread left on them. Doesn't make sense. The Kumho has a wear rating of 320 as opposed to 400 for the BFG. No problems with the ABS or traction control. Speedometer is about 4% off. They are about an inch less in height, but look good. $136 each from tirerack. I wanted to go up one size over stock in the rear, but they don't have a bigger size that will work. The Kumhos seem to stick as well as the OEM tires.
Just throwing it out there. When I need tires again in about another 8-10K, I'm staying with these.

I am running these, they are a really cheap tire and they are very non performance oriented. See my write up on them! It's a big soft balloon tire with no bead recess, it mounts up to the rim bulgy like a regular non low profile passenger car tire. They have a narrower tread area than the stock 245 because the "section width" is artificially enhanced by how much more the tire bulges out than a normal performance 18" tire.

Why not go with 255/55/18s on the rear? Lots of options in this size.

I am running the 255/55/18 GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3's on the rear and it does not impact on traction control at all. Several folks here run the same tires.

Eagle F1 GS-D3's are a good choice.

Well if they are a tad higher... My car has an X-cal2.. can I use that to set the rear tire size?\
And also, what is a "good" Goodyear replacement for the fronts?

I put a pair on last week and I like them. Just my .02.

Take a look at Hankook tires. I'm very pleased with my Ventus.

I have NEVER had a good Goodyear tire. Pure crap(sorry Charlie). I like Michelin but the last time I looked they didn't have a comparable size, but perhaps they do now. Play with the tire selector option on tire-rack its pretty useful.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 offers a 235/50/18 matching tire for the front. I believe that DOOM is using the full combo. I am still running OEM BFGs on the front.
So far, I have no complaints on the Goodyears. I can't attest to Mr. Man's experience with GoodYear's; but he ain't running them on an MM.

The Eagle F1's that once matched our rear size eaxactly were discontinued and have subsequently been sold out across the nation online.
Same size tires on our cars look like ASS no matter what some members claim.
If you want a long living, race ready, (if you happen to stumple on an impromptu show off), excellent rain and dry handling, within a half inch of stock height (taller), 1" wider ground footprint, reasonably priced tire....steer away from our beloved Tire Rack and go to Discount Tire.
