My blower motor quit blowing yesterday.
I hard wired the motor and it works fine. All fuses and relay's seem to be working too as I am getting power to the blower but the ground side is not grounding out. I am pretty much positive this is a resistor or blower motor speed contol problem. Any idea where I can get one of these things?

I just replaced my blower motor control module, a few weeks ago, $51 at ford, and a SOB to replace.

No ground at the blower either? Interesting. I am having the same problem, I am been banking on that I have a interior cabin ground problem, but if its the speed control - well then it would throw that theory out.
I will have to try my spare I have.

Does anyone know where the speed control is located?

Use the search function. Good posts on how the blower works and the replacement of the blower control module.

Not as bad as taking the entire Evap Assembly out with the engine still in the car.

Got it fixed. $55 from Ford. Not too bad. Maybe 20 minutes total. No broken knuckles or spilt antifreeze but plenty of comments from my mouth!
thanks for the help guys.

If you unplug the connector from the blower speed control module, a simple ATC fuse will 'jumper' the high speed and give you high speed blower any time the key is on. I've had problems with my module twice since new in 2000 on my Grand Marquis. It's hard to change, yet doable.
