Has anyone tried changing the thottle body with an after market one or?? And what results have you gotten? Presently looking for cheap HP. I know that is a retorical question but...

Are you tuned? I don't know that our stock throttle body is even a weak point, on a stock or mildly modified car

No power to be gained there, just a lighter wallet.

Get yourself a set of 4:10 gears and a performance tune from Lidio, Reinhart or other tuners familiar with the Marauder. These two mods will make a BIG difference.

Got my tune from Bigcarsforever, we have the same tune but not sure where he got it from. He has 410's and we've had some side by side light to light fun, and he doesn't get me by much. Maybe a fender. I've seen thottle body's for the Stang on performance sites. It claims anywhere from 16 to 26 hp gain. My question is if anyone on here has done the thottle body change and any improvements with it?

theirs no point for a basically stock car.... Its not like your running boost or something where you have to get the air into the engine as quick and smooth as possible... The stock one isnt a restriction point... Hell none of the intake really is, its a good flowing setup...

16-26hp my ass, maybe along with a tune and on 91 octane...

I installed a dual 65mm BBK TB (Thanks Glassman!!!!) AND ported/polished the intake plenum. That and all the other mods, I'm dynoed at 261RWHP or about 325 crank. I'd say maybe a pony or two at most. Not worth it, I got mine real cheap so I had to! :D I do say response is improved, that's it.

Thats usually what everyone notices. One thing to note is alot of people, marauder or mustang people, have had issues with the accufab's sticking... takes abit of adjusting to get them to stop...

Thats kinda what I figured. Wasn't worth throwing it on a tuned MM. Sounds like with a bunch of other mods it has bennies. Thanks all for the input.

I have the Accufab 62mm twin bore TB. It cost me $325 in a group buy and on the dyno I gained 1 peak rwhp and 5 rwhp across the board. It gives you a firmer pedal and a little quicker throttle response but thats about it. The only big plus for me is that its polished and matches my polished upper intake lid.
Otherwise, its not cheap for that minimal gain. Go with pulleys or a intake spacer for $110.

Any good ideas to where I can get pulleys and a spacer ?

The intake spacer is $110, the pulleys are a little over $200. Make sure you go with the Steeda pulleys.

Pulleys, 4.10 gears & tune, driveshaft, torque converter, headers. In that order.

I have a bigger throttle body. No significant increase in HP but I did notice a faster response so you get your power faster.
