The sunoco 260 gt plus is a light blue color.....and I run the race gas for my race tune and for safety to my motor....lol

What about turbo blue? IMO GT260 is very good. But a fuel that's oxygenated will make you more power

Nate:
I normally use VP - 101 octane, but have used 100 Shell race gas. Unleaded 100/101 octane is good as long as your tune is OK. If you have any concerns then go up to VP unleaded 109 it was only $0.50/gallon more at Commerce. I would not use lead gas. Higher octane gas is the simpliest and more cost effecitve method to provide a good safety margin for racing and to prevent detonation.
It is best to buy the VP 5 gallon jug at the track. Then buy some 101 at the track to use in the next race. Mixing 101 with 3-4 gallons of 93 is not really good. You need to empty the tank down to less then a gallon and then pour in 5 gallons of 101. I just drive until the engine almost runs out of gas and pour the 101 in from the VP jug. 97 octane just isn't going to make it on the track - don't take a chance. You need pure 101.

Thats what I do let it run down low as I can before it cut off then fill it half up drive the rest of the way to the track then pour in the rest to purge out the 93 so i can try to have pure 104.....But i might go to the 109 unleaded...Cant be to safe as I say.....And I have 2 one street and one for racing...The race tune I absolutly have to use race gas only.
