I personally think this is really cool, and they do custom pipes starting at 200 dollars.

That looks cool...Good way to see if you have air in the system...

I've seen this at shows and they are lit up at night and look really cool. But I don't think it's worth the risk personally. Too many additional points of failure.

That looks pretty cool have to keep the coolant clean or it may look like poo.

Have you seen the clear cold air intakes? Nothin like lookin at the air goin into the engine.

Look neat.

But....

Have you ever looked at your engine when it runs? Or under a load. On a dyno, the damn thing looks like it might jump out of the engine bay!

The radiator is hard mounted. Does this plexipipe thing flex?

Looks like it's just a section of the hose is plexiglass. Both ends are still rubber.

EDIT: According to their website you cut out a section of your stock hose and use heatshrink tubing to connect the KillerGlass tube to the radiator hose that is left.

Ah, Ok, I see that now. Kind of rice-ish. But I admit, I like it. It's a 10 on the "wow" factor.

Would be a 20 if you got the LED(s).

he would need to run mercury (thats not a pun  ) in his coolant system so he'd have flowing chrome :D

I know that somebody bought me one of these for my car for Christmas. I've been reading up on it, and apparently the pyrex tube is stronger than the regular radiator hose, and even if you have an accident that cracks the tube, they will replace it. They recommend splicing it into a new hose, because older hoses are permeated with coolant, which will make the clamps hard to seal. Should be an interesting addition for shows -- the LED will illuminate the tube even with the engine off, so it should look pretty interesting.

Right now my car is looking pretty sad in the engine bay - a lot of parts are off and packed up to be sent for painting. I put the stock air box and snorkel back on, only had 200 miles on it before I swapped out for the CAI. I miss the sound the CAI made. Meh. Can't wait for spring.

We use glass pipes in the plumbing field for training, some areas of hospitals, and prisons. I would have to think it is the same pipe. We can order straight lengths or bends also. Very thick, durable glass.

I've seen these wheels chromed, its really not an improvement in durability.

Lack of clearcoat on the wheels, that protects the finish. Constantly need to be cleaned and polished. Especialy if they get anything corrosive on them (salt, de-icing chemicals).

durability no, looks uhhh hell yes, they look 400x better then polished.

i had zero issues cleaning my chrome wheels. just wiped em off with a microfiber cloth and they were good as new.
