Crap that suxs to hear. That is my fear with all I have done to it. Been trying to find someone who might insure for what it is worth. I am in the business and it is still hard to find. Good luck with finding what you want.

did you leave the key's in it? maybe it got towed, because I did not think you could steal a PATS car.

They should have figured that out when it was reported stolen? The tow/impound ppl are supposed to notify the police for just that reason.

not always, my friends car was thought to be stolen from a Reddi mart
downtown here, because she called all the tow truck companies and nobody towed the car.... well about a year later an officer called her telling her they found her car, I guess some private tow company towed it, for whatever reason, brought it to holding yard on some farm, and there it sat, it was reported stolen. but get this, it ended up on some used car lot registerd in someone else's name and all the locks and ignition was changed. Not sure how the cop found it but she got her car back, and the police dont want to pursue charges...... now that was weird..
Im truly sorry to hear this.
Thats a feeling i never want to know.

Seriously...I'm with you.
Had the keys been left in the ignition I could accept this story.
Otherwise, until further info is provided, I am offering no condolences.

That blows man. I miss mine too, except mine wasn't stolen, just sold it to some guy, and it vanished.....If only I had a time machine.

Well the keys weren't left in it & in case ya didn't know when you put a REMOTE START SYSTEM you have to put a module to bypass the KEY so it can start the car without the key in the ignition.Well when you do that guess what?yYou just made it easier for the thieves to take your car theres a way for evrything in this world. There was a DTR Marauder here in HOUSTON CRAIGSLIST that was a stolen recovery so theres a way to steal these cars one way or another. It can be with a TOW TRUCK or when you put the key module for the remote start or at GUN POINT!!

pats you need one cut key to program another, the newer ones are called pats 2 because you need 2 programed keys to program another, plus some other features. the bypass module does not interfear with the pats system, if installed right the pats will still work like it should. all that bypass module is, is like a programed key, that the starter module comunicates with to disable the pats while the car is running off the remote starter, you would have to do some re wireing under the dash to make it happen, not likely when your stelaing a car... especially if the module is stuffed under the dash.
