Can't really call this a kill, it was more like bullying some little kids but it was fun anyways.
I was test driving the Merc after installing my new Zack transmission tune. Pulled up to light next to a little red Civic and a Camaro with some rims and a raspy exhaust. They are sitting there revving their engines back and forth. AT first I'm thinking why is the Camaro even wasting his time (didn't know it was a 6 at this point). They didn't notice the big silver sled pull up so I'm like lets have some fun w/the new tune.
See the cross signal turn yellow so I flash the TC to get the rpms up, the light turns green and I start going sideways when I punch it. I let off a little, get her straightened out, and mash it to the floor. Just pulled and pulled away from both of them. At least 5-6 full length before I let off around 80.
Get to the next light and they are both pull up looking at me like I smacked thier mommas.
We wait for the light to turn again, now that I have thier attention this time I just layed waste to both of them again without flashing the TC.
Next light they pull up again and I just let them have their small motor fun. This is when I saw the Camaro only had one exhaust tip and knew right then why it sounded like a pissed off bumblebee when he revved it.

LOL I just dont understand..what is the point of buying a camaro without a v8? It
defeats the whole purpose of a sports car. I mean as far as the civic goes..you
couldnt give me one of those.

I agree totally, the same with the Mustang. It's like buying a 2 wheel drive Jeep whats the point.
You will love it Landy, I think the TC is one of the biggest difference makers between my first MM and this one. Definitly get the mondo cooler for it though. You saw mine and the temps never get over 155 even on a 90°+ day.
I still need to drive with the tune to work to see how it is in traffic but it is definitely has a little more umph than before.

I don't have Nittos, I have Falkens Ziex S/TZ01's on all 4 corners, only a couple months old. I also have a 3k stall, 4.10 gears, full exhaust, along with a bunch of other goodies. Basically about everything but an SC at this point.
When I flash or pre-load the TC it spins most of the way through first and kicks out hard in second. Without flashing I get a chirp in first and a chirp in second.

i am a witness of that.
it doest matter how you do it, as long as you go full throttle in that car it just spins all the way to 2nd.

I like to pick on the little people every once and awhile. Easier to pick a fight you know you can win.
Guy by my work with his Lime Green RT won't even play with me anymore. Used to barely beat me in the old MM and after one whupping w/the new one he won't even line up next to me at a light.

when i was n/a with the 3500 stall with preload, the tires didnt stand a chance. 3500 with boost is even more fun

Ya we definitely need to make a trip to the track soon. Weather is good now and should be fun.
The RT has a had a few opportunities to pull up next to me at a light and all he does is get behind me now. We had a little rivalry going, he would beat me stock w/a tune. Then I got the CAI, 4.10s, and a new tune and I would pull him. Then he went out did a couple thing because his exhaust note changed dramatically and he would pull me.
Now the couple of times we have lined up since I got the new car I just spank him. Don't think he realizes it is a different car than before so he probably thinks I went SC or something. He is probably saving up for his next big mod before he will line up again. Apparently doesn't like getting embarrassed.

Camaros are NOT sports cars. "Sporty," perhaps.
The new ones with V6's make over 300 HP! Not bad for the low 20K's!
Sounds like a kill to me! :shot:
