Ok so currently I have a zack tune and everything else in my signature and I just had my trans rebuilt by derrin with a jmod and another 3100 single disc PI converter and was looking to get a custom dyno tune done by lidio and was wondering how much of a difference in hp and tq the dyno tune will make. I'm looking to squeeze as much hp out of it as possible.

If your running 13.82 with your limited mods you are doing very well. I would not spend my money on any other tune. I would focus on my 60' time at this point. You will improve your et more then another tune. By the way, what is your 60' time and what tires are you using.

My best 60ft time was 2.02 with 235/50/18 bfgs and believe it or not they barely spun I ran them with 20psi. Besides that I have seen a couple of threads where somebody went and got a dyno tune and pulled up to 15 more horsepower over the can tune. One problem with my tune is that my car was doing wot shifts into overdrive which is not good for the trans.

Forgot to mention I just picked up a pair of 265/50/18 nitto nt555's for the rears.

Turn the OD off before you run! 15 horse would get you about a tenth more. Glenn is right on the working on the 60 foot as you could pick up a tenth or more of you can get the car into the 1.9s.

I agree with Glenn, only time you're going to need one is once you get boost or get headers cause you'll want the air/fuel ratio to be corrected.

My tune still has to be tweaked though right? According to derrin my trans was making wot shifts into overdrive, not sure if that was because of the tune or the converter had a problem. When zack made me the tune my converter was still stock and I had 4.10s but I accidentaly told him 3.55s, so I just want to make sure my tune is nice and safe for my trans which was just rebuilt by derrin

Once you press the O/D button and see that green light off the OverDrive is off, ALWAYS turn it off when racing.

Stick with Zack's tune, mine has done me wonders for the past 2 years on 3.55 gears, once my 4.10s and new diff go in, it's going to bring that evil grin back every time I drive it.
