VW GTI MKV (Mark 5)

Being 20 miles away on the NE ext of PA turnpike, I was running late to pick up my daughter from the the bus stop. There I was, on the very rare occasion, going pretty fast in very clear left lane. I pass a VW GTI MKV (http://themotorreport.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/vw-golf-gti.jpg)that is all by himself in the right lane. The next thing I know, this idiot is on my tail so tight that I can't see his headlights.

As we approached a truck in the right lane and a car passing the truck in the left I had to let off the gas. At this point this moron got even closer. Once past these two vehicles I gas it to get some room. He then gasses his over and over again as if he wanted to ram me. WTF is wrong with this guy?! Are all MKV owners *********s? I hope that this prick reads this so he knows what I think of him.

I have a lot of respect for fast cars, even foreign, but no respect for this guy's actions. Please pardon my language, but this guy pissed me off pretty bad.

I see plenty of VW GTIs driven by dorks with the P205 tires s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d onto a 9" wide rim....
they look like total friggin' idiots riding on the sidewalls of the wayyyyyy too small tire.

I hear ya Barry! I was wondering if I might have a "run-in" with this guy at the exit. I used the Cash toll booth while he used the easy pass booth. Good riddance!

I know what you mean here! How can this be safe to drive? Another thing I noticed in my town...some put on FOUR spares and drive around all of the time this way. What's up with that? I think these VW guys need to rethink their tire wheel methods!

I wish I had people around here that had THAT much sense. Around here they buy

old ass cars (like 80's usually) and put 24" rims on them and jack them up real high

and put like skittles graphics,m&m's,funyn's,oreo's,etc. all over their cars. So they have these old ass

P.O.S. cars with all kinds of stupid graphics and they ride around mcdonald's

parking lot with their "LAMBO DOORS" up like they're cool or something.Then one of

them actually stopped me and asked me if i'd join their "GANG?" and put 24's on my

car. LOL WTF?!!!!!!
