I found a set of 18x8 nice aluminum wheels from an Eclipse. The offset is 40mm - backspacing is 6.1 inches. I looked up the bolt pattern at the link below and they are 5x114.3

Am I missing something? Have I found my winter wheels???

I assume you will be mounting snows?

18" snow tires in the correct height are a PITA.

16" wheels and snows are easily matched to OEM specs.

I found a set of 235/60/18 snows which are exactly the same height as stock rears, 28.6"

But, the Eclipse wheels have a 67.1mm CB - Panthers have 70.6mm. So close and yet...

I was hoping to get some 17" Mustang wheels for snows, but I'd need hard to find tire sizes. I'll start looking at 16". For 16s, 245/65 are 28.5" and 235/65 are 28.0 (2% speedo difference)

I could probably use stock CV/GM 16" wheels and 225/70 tires(28.4" tall). That might be way more plentiful.

Thanks so much for the advice!
