Hey guys! I'm the proud new owner of a 2003 MM that I purchased from an outstanding member of this community. I'm flying out to St. Louis on Monday to pick up the car and will drive it all the way back to Baltimore. I'm really excited to join the community and finally have some Detroit Muscle in my garage (I'm a Detroit native).

I've already owned a couple high-performance cars, starting with a 2000 Audi S4 and most recently a heavily modified 2005 Subaru WRX that I race in SCCA autox. I'll be dedicating the WRX for racing and occasional driving, utilizing the 2003 MM as my daily cruiser. I can't wait. The seller of my new car is a really great guy and I'm looking forward to meeting many more Marauder owners in the years ahead.

NO MORE RICE FOR YOU!

Hahah. I'm still keeping the WRX for autocross, but am definitely looking forward to some American muscle. Here's a video of me racing in the WRX.

The new (to me) Marauder is a 2003 with K&N intake, Addco sway bars, Eibach front springs, 4.10 Motive gears, SCT tuner (from Lidio), Ford Racing differential support, and HID conversion kit. The car is in amazing condition and only has 22K miles. Definitely worth the effort to bringing it back to MD. The seller was a really good guy and that went a long way toward trusting that I made a good purchase.

Welcome :welcome1: to the MM.Net and the CAM area. There are several members members not too far from you. Keep an eye out for CAM gatherings. We are overdue for a rally at Red Brick Station on the Avenue in White Marsh.

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site and your new ride.

BTW, Are there any problems with 2010 Mustang GTs with the TrackPack option according to SCCA rules?

I'm definitely down for a MM meet-up at Red Brick Station. I actually live in Perry Hall, around 2 miles from the Avenue.

If it's an OEM "stock" option, it shouldn't bump you into another class. Is the TrackPack just suspension, intake, exhaust, wheels/tires, and brakes? You should be in the same class at regular Mustang GT's. You can find the class rules on www.scca.com

That would have been really cool! It's kind of funny because I was actually heading to St. Louis for work and ended up buying a car.

I'm originally from the Detroit area and hope to bring the Marauder to the Woodward Dream Cruise next August. That will be a great opportunity to meet up with MM owners from all over the country.

Fordfrk is about 1 mile closer than you. I have two nephews in that area as well. One lives just off Silver Spring and the other just off Ebenezer. Was there to visit for a party 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Last night, me and the Marauder safely made is back to MD from St. Louis. It was a long trip, but I couldn't imagine a better vehicle to make the journey in. I'm really happy with the purchase- the car looks and drives great. I'm looking forward to participating in some C.A.M. events and getting to know the members.

Make sure that you reserve your room at the Hampton Inn for the 4-6 June 2010 All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle, PA. Last year we had nearly 40 MMs there from all over the region and beyond. Join the Carlisle Group to see more information on Carlisle 2010. Keep your eye peeled for posts on Carlisle.

Good call! I have them on my WRX OZs, and should get a set for the Marauder as well. These wheels are sweet. I'm not usually a fan of chrome polish, but they're the perfect finish for this badass cruiser.
