I have a full set of FR500 cams and all the hardware new in box. I opened the box to make sure everything was there. Was going to stick these in our 01'. Plans have changed since I found a 03' doner car instead. These kits are no longer made and last I heard Ford Racing has completely sold out of them.

Price is 950 + shipping.
I have great feedback on here and corral.net, e-bay and I know there are a few members on here that will vouch for me.

PM me for any questions or my phone number.

Thanks!

How much more radical are these over our stock cams?? Do you have our specs vs the FR500 specs???Can you "hear" them when its at an idle?? Will driveablity suffer??? How much horsepower will these cams add?? and finally....Where in the rpm range will these "come on". Don't get me wrong I love a bad a?? car that sounds really mean, (I've had a 10.70 Sport Fury and a 12.98 89 Mustang) but I love my MM the way it is (I guess I'm an old fart). So what it really comes down to is it really worth the money to put these on if there is not a huge return in hp?? I am truly curious. Please tell me more about these cams.
Thanks
Rick

i could swear I've heard in the past that these should be accompanied by a motor with the ability to rev a decent amount higher than ours stock. PHENOMENAL gains for a fully built and balanced 4.6 with matching heads, but seriously not something to just throw in stock or very mildly modded Marauder.

Don't quote me on this though.

These cams you'll pick up about 20-30hp. They are pretty mild from what I heard from other FR users. I was planning on putting them in our 01' thats my wife's daily.

Sounds good, I hope this was a joke post though since you'll never get a 4v to sound like that

I think a 4v can sound just as bubbly

kinda thought the same, why exactly is that?

I imagine either because of the number of valves or because of limitations on lift or overlap... not really sure, never really looked into the reasons

Not even close the the LS1 video, and the Mach one is even running open headers while the GTO is out the tail pipes

Does the kit include valve springs? valve seals? cam followers? cam bolts? stainless intake and exhaust valves?

Glock, I almost went with these cams but decided not to because want to be blown down the line and that combo wasnt the best. But others have done the FR500+SC so good luck.

Click me for Cam Spec sheet (http://www.modularfords.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=55 234&d=1225400962)

Ya, as Glockafella said, is this the whole kit? Or just the cams?

Also, still for sale?

Entire F'n kit'n cabootle. :)

All oem wrapped. I only opened the box to count everything.

Valves, springs, cams, seals, bolts.

I can't stress enough how I DO NOT want to sell these. LOL but because of the new project that fell into my lap I need the funds to support that. Otherwise i'd stick em in the 03 engine we're swapping. Or save them. Anyone remember fox body M-2300-K kits? They were $1000 at one point. Then were discontinued and ford just used NOS parts to keep building them and now their up to like 2400$. I have a feeling the same will happen with these 4v cams with all the modulars running around.

You can't even buy JUST cams for a 4v for this price let alone a complete rebuild for the heads.
