This evening. I have been driving athe same Honda Civic for 21 years. Many miles. So driving the Rauder is .......sweet. And totally different. much to get use to. She purrs like a kitten. Come up with a name for it just for now till it's personality asserts it's self. 'Timmaundit' (tim-ond-it).

Issues, which I did not notice when looking at the car.

The hose to the power sterring pump is pinched starving the pump of fluid.
Interior lights do not go on when the drivers door is opened, fine for all others.
Missing the cigerette lighter but has the ash tray. (noticed but no biggy)
Looks like someone used a brillo pad on the clear plastic cover of the instrument cluster. (noticed that one)
Oil pressure gauge light is not working.
No tire on the spare rim. (noticed that one too)
could stand to have all the fluids changed (assumed that before I looked at it but know for sure now)
Shifter handle is wiggly or loose. (how did I miss that?)
Trany is grabing at low or idling speed. Now that I did not notice when I drove it before and did not show up right away (probably I just blocked it out) Hoping a sevice will solve. Or I will drive it till it breaks real good and get a new trany.

New tires in the next 6 months at most. I just like having new tries, once those wear markers get close I start planning, plus the wife is hard on tires, not that she will be driving my MM. This Is My Marauder And yoUr Not Driving IT.
Of course it needs a good detailing but I will do that when I can in the next month or so.

would like to do but not needed right away.

New headlight and sidmarkers.
New floor matts with Marauder on them.
New carpet.

So there you have, I paid to much, got excited and couldn't think straight. But it was close by so I could get to it by bicycle, didn't have to worry about shipping it, and it is already a California car which saves on hassels with the Caly DMV. They apparantly don't like out of state cars.

Now to reasearch tranys.

Sounds like most of the issues are quite minor. Have fun with it!

Sounds like you have enough to keep you busy for awhile...just to add one more thing, when you go to replace the oil pressure gauge bulb: you know the oil gauge is a fake, right? Now would be a good time to replace it with the real working version.

I know how you feel. I bought a beautiful 2004 SB with 25k on the clock and a clean carfax. I knew it had a paint blemish I wanted fixed. Never knew
the car driver side had already been completely repainted including the roof. To fix my paint blemish properly, 2700! I should have noticed the additional tell tale signs, espicially since I consider myself a car guy.

Sucks to be attracted to a newer car with low miles, you forget the basics of buying a used car.

I was looking thru the owners manual, had the warenty info and feture info included. Also had an speeding ticket for the PO in the! LOL, guess he paid it. 80 in a 65. ha.
a nice piece of history for the car, think I will keep it.

Here is a nother bit, I am a Johnny Cash fan. He does a song about getting the Caddy a piece at a time, 'always wanted one that was long and black'. Did that concert in Folsum Prison and recorded it. During the show a graud anouces that an imate 'Sandavul' has a call or visitor. The PO, the ticket guy, Sandavul. I know I know, minor and not that wierd but gave me a chukle.
