HELP! Xcal2 Recovery Mode

SO moral of the story is I'm trying to use my previously for Marauder use Xcal2 on my Aviator. I got the tune from another company but was having problems with is uploading to the tuner. (won't load Live load 3).
So I was told to Format the tuner and upload new Firmware. I did so and now it's in Reovery Mode. Is this SCT's way of phasing the Xcal2 out.
The tuner is Unlocked
Firmware is updated
Stuck in Recovery Mode
ANy input?

I had the same problem with one of mine. Contacting one of the well known tuners off this site, and speaking to him on the phone as he walked me through it - he had never seen that message before. Nothing was solved other than full replacement.
I'd really like to follow this thread and find out what comes out of it.
