We just finished up an 03' marauder with a custom air to water vortech setup that put down 496 to the tire. We are looking to put a built tranny in it now and I was curious to what you guys would recommend or what you guys are running.

Buy mine and just have the mods done to handle the HP ##'s safely.... you get the converter with it, it was $750 alone and just rebuilt by PI w/ warranty.

I have the invoice from PI for the converter and from FORD for the trans.

OEM Trans w/ PI converter $1000

Trans was installed NEW May 2008 OEM from Ford, 3 year 100k warranty.
Only 25K miles on it and fluid just flushed within the last 30 days
Converter was rebuilt April 2009 by PI and has warranty.

The current concensus i believe is to contact Darrin @ BC Autotmotive.

I've been thru many tranny builds, best I ever had was the Art Carr kit from Dennis Reinhart, installed by a local performance-oriented Ford dealership's top tranny guy. It broke when I went to 600 rwhp, but worked fantastic at 500.
