Any easy way to do this?

I have a disc of photos that I would like to downsize so that I can upload/e-mail them.

Thanks for any help and advice you can give me.

You can try Google's Picasa, which may do batch: http://picasa.google.com/

Photoshop does it too if you have that, but it's expensive to buy.

There is a free way, it's not that complex once you get it going...it's a sticky in this forum:

I still use ImageMagick with good results.

Microsoft has a power toy add-in that works nicely.
Just right click on an image or a group of images, and the "resize image" option shows up.

Looks like you got all the help you need on the resize.

When you get done send me a larger image on your new wheel-stand launch avatar!
AWESOME!!

Marty....DO THIS ^^^^^

It's an add on for Windows XP.
Super small, moments to install, and no programs to use.
It merely adds a "RESIZE" command to your list when you right click on an image, or in your case, a shat ton of selected image files.

It works best when you choose to resize to 1024x768...aka "LARGE".
Anything smaller blows.
Also, use the drop down command for "advanced".
You may check a box to not make copies and resize the originals.
This works best if you have already backed your originals up to a cd and just want to work with, resize, and delete the remnents on your hdd.

EVERYTHING I upload here and in my flikr albums are resized with this tool after watermarking.

TRUST ME...USE THIS WINDOWS ADD ON.

I love using that Powertoy for some things but you have to watch it if you want to retain image quality because it really compresses the jpegs, leaving compression marks all over the place.

That was my only complaint with it, but it gets good kudos for it's simplicity.
