You know those advertising links that show 2008 Marauder banner at the bottom of the page, this shows the 1999 era Marauder http://www.insideline.com/mercury/marauder/1999-los-angeles-mercury-marauder.html

Lots of nice concepts there. You can see the DNA in many current FORD cars there.

Yep, 1998 was the first concept car

By the way, does anybody have pictures of the 1998 Concept shown at SEMA? I never seen it.

It may be difficult to tell, but are those rims the same that were actually used on the production Marauders?

To me, they look like they have a deeper "dish". :confused: They look better, in my opinion...

Those are different wheels.

Thanks for posting that link. Cool stuff there. I'm glad the Marauder got the blackout treatment. Too much chrome on that concept.

My understanding the SEMA car had 17"F and 18"R Enkai (probably misspelled) wheels, I had the wheel model # but can't find right now. I'll keep looking. Now back to Sir Paul @ Shea.
