Saw a Black MM at the swap today, Michigan plates, anyone here?
Did you see a Red Chevy Pickup with Mich. plates? Gdmjoe and drove down. 10.5 hours of driving to get there and back. WE spent 3 hours at the swap meet. Most of the vendors thought they were selling gold. I was looking for FE parts and they wanted retail or more for them!

I really wasn't searching the lot, just happened to be parked about 10 spots down from us this afternoon when we left. And yes, I saw a lot of high prices and not a lot of money changing hands.
I did see a 82 Mustang in the car corral, 302/4speed, looked awesome, seller wanted 14.5K for it, but it was as new as new could be. I would be dead right now if I brought home another car.....
I know about the dead part as a little preaching was done before I left! Most of the cars were over priced. I did see a couple that I liked. Did you see the 64 Fairlane? That was pretty nice. Most of the cars had bad paint and high prices. The super gas Lincoln looked like fun also.
The Ford FE parts were nuts. I spent most of my time looking at them. The best thing I found was the guy who had steel stroker cranks for a good price and he was from Detroit. I will be seeing him soon!

I didn't take a whole lot of $$$ with me, so I wouldn't be empted to buy more "stuff". I actually didn't buy a thing.... go figure. Now.... had I found an Aluminator for the right price, I would have had to borrow the $$$ from my buddy, "he" took cash, and didn't buy anything either.
I bought nine drag racing photos of T bolts and stuff like that. Oh yea I also bought a cook book from the American Legion!;) Gottta keep Linda happy!

MercuryEdselLincoln. *I didn't cheat.
BTW ... On the way home from your place last night, doing 75-80MPH ran into Bambi on 96. Clipped the RH rear leg with the bumper ('86 F150 4x4) which spun the deer around and into the path of the van in the right lane that I was passing.
The van killed Bambi .... You BASTARDS!!!!!
Small amount of hair in the bumper tirm, other than that no damage.
Another Michigan high-speed beef incident.
