I am adding the additional cooling fans on the radiator and will be adding a fan on the condenser as well.
SPAL suggests putting the trigger wire on the cars 'Trinary' switch if possible. This is supposedly part of a cars factory system and is an indicator of the system pressure reaching a certain level (on/off).
An alternative would be to put the trigger on the positive of the A/C compressor. But this means the fan will go on and off as the compressor cycles.
Clearly the best way to go is trigger off the system pressure. But I have never heard of this kind of switch on our cars.
Any advice? Do we have this in our factory system? (my guess is systems on some other cars have it to trigger factory condenser fans but we dont.)
