Hey, y'all: Need some wisdom from experience: I have a '03 300A, 57K miles. I bought the Ford Extra Care ESP (7 years, 75K miles). As has been my experience in the past, these warranties usually just about pay for themselves in goods and services, while limiting the top end for catastrophic repairs.
I'm thinking about buying a further four years ($1455)
What kind of experiences do you have out there with Marauder repairs between say 60K and 100K miles?
So far, I've had cooling system repairs, control module for air suspension, steering hose, etc. Mostly Mickey Mouse but worth the money I originally paid.
Whats the consensus here?

I've had wacky wipers, wacky headlights, dead shock, power window motor, and other stuff I can't remember right now. I always have bad luck with cars so I always carry ESP. Recently signed a new one after paying 1300 bucks out of pocket for stuff while in between ESP warranties. I don't do my own mechanicing, so it's a necessity for me.

I've driven my last 3 cars well over 150,000 miles...one went to 220,000 before I sold it. Never needed an extended warranty. We've owned Phoebe since 87,xxx and she now has 127,xxx. Nothing has yet gone wrong that a warranty would have covered anyway.

My last ESP claim was 3200. Well worth the money I paid for it. I have considered buying another ESP when mine expires next year. Like you, I don't do my own wrenching. Iwould if I had a shop of my own.
I work for a dealer ship I rebuild the rear end replaced one axle both bearings and seals, replaced AC accumulator, lcm, steering shafts, Both heated seat switch's. Just in the price of parts my esp payed for itself and I got payed to work on my car. If you get an esp only get the Ford one and get the premium care it cover's all the electrical stuff.

I have the powertrain only 3 years 36K miles paid $950 w/ $100 deductable.
I will be cashing it out...I always get a warranty when I buy a used car...usually in 6 months I can tell if the car is good to go or not. The dealership would not work with me on the premium warranty price...but would work with me on a powertrain only warranty price.
But with me wanting to add boost, tune, gears, etc...My Powertrain warranty will be void anyways...So I want whatever money back out if it I can before I start wrenching on it.
