I was driving home tonight and noticed the light under the drivers side window switch was out. Looked over and the passengers window light switch was out. When I got home checked the others, the rear window switch lights were out, also. All the others were working fine. Are these switch lights some kind of fiber optic or are they bulbs. How do you go about fixing this?

Most likely the rear and passenger side ones aren't on because you have the windows locked. If you unlock the other windows the lights come back on for the switches.

Thanks I'll give it a try tomorrow, learning day by day.

If that doesn't work there is a fix for the lights. Use the search function. Or you might have to replace the drivers side switches.

Thanks Phrog gunner,

Your suggestion worked, except the drivers window switch remains unlit.

So.....anyone else with an idea on the drivers switch.

That's common and easy, too. While you have the switch block apart to clean the contacts, if you can solder and have a steady hand, just touch up the PCB connections to the offending LED. I had to do that to The Blackbird...the driver's "up" didn't illuminate. Resoldered, and all is well.

Thank you RF
