Hey guys, I havent changed anything on my car for the past year. and recently I got a code for Bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 02's stuck lean. Well I thought no biggy. Replaced them with new sensors from ford.
I have got the code twice since the replacement of the 02's doesnt seem to effect driveability. and the code will go away on it's own after a few days. then come back weeks later. Any idea's what may be the problem. is it running to Rich maybe and loading up the 02's?

I had the same problem after I switched my sensors. Come to find out the NGK replacement senors where bad from the factory. I replaced them again and no problems so far. I got 400 miles on them.

Those codes on AllData show me that there could be problems in the following.

• HO2s/O2s
• Fuel Injector(s)
• Harness circuits, HO2s, SIGRTN, VPWR, HO2s heater & Inj 1-10
• Vacuum systems
• PCM

If you're having a lean condition you must check for unmetered air leaks, that is the most common problem.

I agree with unmetered air most likely being the problem. I'll check for vac. leaks. and all my connectors see if i come up with anything i have a feeling this is going to be hard to find just because it comes and goes and not really that often. Thanks for the input!

The rubber elbow by the power steering pulley wore a hole on my car causing unmetered air, thus throwing a code. Can't remember if it was the same code as yours. Check all connections!!!!
