Ok, so help a noob out. I thought the motor in these beasts was the Cobra motor, but per your comment, something is different. What is it?

I am new, so please be nice.

Thanks!
Anthony

So the 'simple' difference is cast iron va aluminum? Is that why we can't just bolt up the Cobra charger to our motor?

Hmm

maybe I should start a new thrad instead of hijacking this one ...

If I'm not mistaken, you can bolt up a Cobra S/C to our motor, but the intake is on the left (facing the motor from the front of the car) and ours is on the right. Some people have done modifications and used the Cobra (Eaton) S/C on their Marauder, but it is labor intensive. The Trilogy kit solves this problem, by using a right-side intake.

Pics at Millcroft plaza. Has this car been to Terrace for work? How much for just the winter tires/wheels?

you can pick a part my choice of description but, i have not met alot of people that know about these cars so i try to use some familiar terms. the car goes storage in 2 days...it was certified @ Terrace (never again!). the warranty "bumber to bumber", there isn't much not covered. if you google "extra care ford warranty" you will see a complete breakdown.
i'm sad to sell and actually am leaning on keeping it, you guys know how cool this car is, i don't "need" the money so, it's tough i just don't have the space!

I feel like i will need councilling if i let it go! :(

I'll ask once again, what is bumber to bumber? Do all cars have this "bumber" thing?

i had 2 interested buyers...1 sent me a deposit and 1 didn't like that the left 1/4 panel has ben painted. (i didn't know)...but, luckily i have a pretty smart wife and she made me realize how much i would regret selling this car...it may not be 100% original but i truly love this car...it's fun and gets more looks than all those cookie cutter cars out there. so, i thanked buyer #2 and wish him luck in his pursuit or an unadulterated paint job and returned the money to buyer #1. I'll store it for the winter and enjoy it in the spring!

call me crazy!

I almost cried! Boy meets car, car wants to leave boy for another owner, boy and car are reunited! Beautiful. Let's hear back from you next spring to see how you feel about your decision!

What!!
as long as the paint was done tastefully ... I mean right who cares if its been painted, I had some panels on mine re done its makes the car look better!! My car has 74000 klms on her! and black need lots of TLC.
some of us want our cars to look great! even with some having 100 k plus.

Hotford, exactly how i think. there was never an accident that i know. when i bought the car the front bumper was in rough shape...looked like he rubbed it every day on his garbage can or something...it was actually showing yellow. so i had it painted...by a very reputable shop in burlington called CARS Collision, not some back yard hillbilly with tremclad! it looks great. Personally as long as it is done right i would rather it painted than scratched to *****!
I don't blame the guy though, thats his preference i respect that and i have no hard feelings toward him. but, for $13500, you get what you pay for. I have seen some mint MM's advertised with very low km's...perhaps he needs to shop for those and he will pay more like $20000 +!
