There are now three members who have expressed interest in a DC area get together. Lets see who else would be interested, and where start throwing out ideas as to where to meet.

Mad right now I am at a loss for where to meet. The local car show in my area is through for the year. There are two dragstrips up this way, one even has a Drive-in Theater. Let me rack my brain a little bit and get back to you later.

Well, I don't exactly live in the DC area, 2 hours way, but might attend anyway, where is White Flint Mall?

Dave and Busters sounds good. Lets have some other options just so every one can get there opinion in.

Dave and Busters may sound like a good idea, but I don’t care for Rockville and it’s continuous traffic jams. There are many places to host a gathering in the State of Maryland. I would think that Annapolis area would be better for the long distance members and would have a better choice of Seafood restaurants. That’s my two cents, now let’s make a dollar.

Ok, guys here is a list of Top notch Restaurants in downtown Annapolis Maryland. Parking could be tricky and menu prices should be considered. I could travel to Annapolis next week to survey the area if anyone is interested.

To all,
There is a restaurant called RIP's just south of Bowie on Rt 3/301. I haven't been there is quite some time, but it has a variety of food choices and lots of parking. It might be an alternative to Annapolis proper and the accompanying traffic. Just a thought. It is mid-way between Wash, DC and Annapolis on the East side of the Beltway.
Is there any MMers who live near Bowie that have eaten at RIP's recently that would vouch for that place?

I had lunch at Rip's about a month ago - pretty good food, not bad prices, and plenty of parking. Downtown Annapolis is always fun to cruise, but parking can be a nightmare!

Downtown Annapolis would be fun to cruise and only 15 mins. away. Rips sounds like a good idea and gets my vote.

This Saturday, Nov. 8, is out for us. We are going for crabs at Mays restaurant in Frederick, MD. Meeting a bunch of Vette folks -- Pls No Flames.
How about this Sunday Nov. 9th or next weekend, Nov. 15th or 16th? It is nice that we don't have to worry about Beach Traffic on Route 50 at this time of year.

Hagis,
I'll have the Blue Marauder out on Saturday at Mays since it is easier for my wife to get in/out of after her knee surgery. Hope to see you. Stop in around 2 -3 pm.
