View Full Version : Burning smell from my vents??

As i am driving my car today i turn the heater on and there was a burning oil smell i think the more i step on the gas the more it get worse, it kept on blowing that smell from the vents. any way after driving 30 miles the smell went a way. i recently changed my a/c blower. do u guys know what is that smell means?

Maybe outside air problem? Unless you turn it to max Ac it will circulate out side air. Just a thought.:)

Didn't you just have your oil changed (or change it yourself)? Maybe someone spilled/dripped oil down the side of the engine and didn't wipe off the excess and it hasn't burned off completely yet. :dunno:
