does anyone know of or have experience with these coils on a N/A marauder? are they worth the $500 price tag? what kind of performance gains should i see when installed with a K&N CAI and lidio tune? thanks

Probably not worth the $500 price tag .I use the Granatelli Motor Sports Coil On Plug Connectors #28-1705S for $142 USD & never had a problem. Most on here might say the same.

I just replaced all of mine with Accel PN# 140034, $24.97 @.

Hmm might be worth doing those for my setup.

Bought them at Summit, but their auction price is the same, no shipping, I live close enough to drive there.

The factory COPS are WAY more than able to handle anything an N/A motor can throw at them. Unless you have multiple bad ones and need to replace them, you'll find zero gain with the expensive aftermarket ones.

The COP connectors WPG Merc mentioned are worth it, though.

I have had the Granatelli connectors with OEM coils for 4 years or longer with ZERO problems......Original Ford coils at 208+K miles!!:bows:

I believe that the Ford "Springy Thingies" develop contact corrosion and high resistance killing coils in time???

The Granatelli connector are SS and mine still look new!!

Don't know anything about the Granatelli coils though!!:shake:

+1 on the coil GMS connectors.

This is what they look like side-by-side with the stock connector.

INHO... the GMS COP aren't worth the $$'s.

GMS Coil Connectors and stock coils are plenty enough.

I purchased the Granatelli's and about 1 year later 2 of them were bad. I would not waste the money. The OEM are your best bet

The Accel coils are excellent replacements. The OEM Ford coils are good, but they can, and do, go bad. Granatelli coils are known to be unreliable, and some tuners warn against them.
