One of my rims the chrome is coming out :shake:.
can i get it rechromed from someone, any one know's any info
can the MM wheel get re-chromed?

MM wheels aren't chromed. They are polished aluminum.

They are anodized, polished, shot peened, balanced, blue printed, acid dipped, chamfered, deburred, and magnafluxed aluminum. I have a feeling im the weakest link though. lol

I didn't think you could magnaflux aluminum. Always thought it only worked on ferrous metals.

Yes, but I believe it uses magnetism to show the cracks.

im getting mine chromed but come 49degrees, they come off n steelies with raised white letters time.lol

The chrome will not hold up as well as nickle

I had all four of my wheels redone by Keystone Automotive. They look better now than when they were new. It cost $600.

Fordnut is correct. Did this as an NDT procedure on castings in the foundry industry in my former life.

Yep...It comes in a spray can and has a chrome cap!
It should take less then 1 can to re-chrome your rim.

Don't go to the WalMart in DOOM's neighborhood, because I am sure that they are SOLD OUT of spray chrome....:P
