air susp light

I have a 2003 Marauder, and the dashlight that says air susp sometimes does not go off after starting the engine. It has happened about 5 or 6 times. I turn the engine off and restart, and then everything is fine. Last weekend, it wouldn't go off, no matter how many times I tried to restart. I also noticed that when that light was on, I had no power steering. I drove just a short distance, and turned it off. An hour later when I got in it, all was fine.

Any thoughts on what's going on? I'm guessing the air suspension needs service. Is this a major repair?

Was your steering non-existent or just real tight?
did the speedometer work?
did you ever get it fixed yet?

I'm having the same problem but no issues with the steering wheel.... My light stays on and the suspension is stiff, and doesn't cycle.... It happens to mine about every other time I start it. It started right after I replaced my compressor with a used one.... The times the light come on I get out and flip the on/off switch a coupe times and the light goes out and everything works normal.. I'm not sure whats going on and was going to start a thread about until I saw yours....
