You really need to look at http://www.stainlessworks.net
They have a complete exhaust for the Marauder.

You can make your car loud, but you'll have a hard time getting it to sound like a Cobra.
Length and configuration of the exhaust = different resonance than a Mustang.
You want loud, go with staight pipes like Pantheroc or oldekid.

Pipes are too long to have the same kind of sharp bark as a cobra, I think the shorter magnaflows might get you close, or some SLP loudmouths or something. Then have the rest done by a good exhaust guy... 0 mufflers might be a bit much N/A, you don't wanna be too loud then not be able to back it up ;)

i first tried it without the mufflers and left everything else ,holy crap it was redneck loud...sounded tough...but the drone on the highway in the cabin was too much.so i put flowmaster super 44s on and that sounded crappy like stock.so i removed the rear cats and got rid of the stock tips and had them put on stainless tips with no resonators.....i think it sounds MUCH better a lil throaty,beefy....im goin to put headers on in the spring...cant wait .good luck.

Raudermasters car (IMO) sounded exactly like a cobra
This is as close as you will get to the real deal

And by Cobra do you mean a Ford with Flowmasters? Cuz that's all I hear there, but maybe that's what OP meant by "sound like a cobra"
When I think of the difference in sound of a Stang I think of the sharp snap and burbles that they have from having much shorter exhaust length

How about Zoomies!
See how you like mine on the 10th. Mine is rear cats gone, resonators gone, and flowmaster delta 40's.

I was thinking the same thing.
Back on topic, most of the bolt-in x-pipes come as part of the header system. I'm not familiar with any of them that come with an h-pipe. There is no bolt-in system that goes from the flanges after the cats then connects to the mufflers, but you could get an x-pipe from Bassani (that's what mine is) or many other manufacturers and have a custom setup made.
If you just want to make noise, change the mufflers to flowmasters and/or switch to non-resonated tips. If you can get a shop to do it (lots of shops won't because it's illegal) cut out the rear cats.

Got a sound clip? Is the sound with the 44s or did you put the stockers back on?

I'm running Kooks headders, no cats, 21/2 pipe and X-pipe to borla turbo mufflers out to 21/2 pipes that lead to the stock tips. It sounds Bad*** but I do have a drone/ vibration @ 1800 rpm.
H pipe all the way....
I drool every time i go for a ride in twins car.
I have KOOKS full exhaust with the X pipe (they dont offer it with a H pipe :() but many members here will tell you my car sounds BADASS!
Im running KOOKS full exhaust with flowmaster super 44's and 4 inch deleted tips.
I will be doing the over the axle pipe soon and when i do i think im going to have a H pipe put in.

Look in the Gibson muffler thread - there is a muffled X pipe that will probably remove it. I posting a drawing of it.

I actually don't care for the growly/raspy Mustang sound.
Is there any way to get the old school bob-bob-bob muscle car sound?
Or do I have to do divorce pipes & glasspacks for that?

it's not a 2 valve push rod, and it's also small displacement. You won't get that sound
