I finally got my intake back today from the welding shop. Took only over a month to do but the guy did it for free so I can't complain too much. He welded a 1/8" thick aluminum plate on the bottom. It seems much more solid and it sure as hell looks like it's welded to survive anything I throw at it. The test will be to see how it sounds and how it performs when re-installed on my car in a few weeks.

I saw the intake this evening and it looks great, I think it's going to hold up I just hope it's quiet unlike when you first got it.

Cut off the old one and replaced it with thicker aluminum.

Cut it? Weren't all the welds broken? I think he just pulled it off. :run:

Indeed. You think he would even offer a apology or some kind of response for his product failure.

what a pos inside.

That's a surprise to me. My Terminator lower really looked good inside. Smoothed flow with epoxy in corners, all interior surfaces smoothed, porting/port matching looked perfect, injectors unshrouded.

He never did send my fitting back, though. Just quit replying to emails instead of continuing to promise "it'll go out this week".

I'm not familiar with whole story but if he went out of business it's not hard to figure out why. I remember Paul's agony in waiting months to get his intake...... everytime I'ld see him blah blah blah waaa waaa waaa. :D It finally showed up and boom....did it even last a few hundred miles Paul?? Anyway once in a while I would actually pay attention t what Paul was saying about Naz getting real sick. The quality just dropped after that. He should've refunded money and resumed after he got well again. My $0.02

Few hundred miles? Try less then a 100 miles. I made a few drives to cunningham and our dinner meets, then a few treks to my mothers house and then the idle surge started along with a rough idle. I pulled it off and there were 3 hairline cracks in the welds.
I dont think there was any quality in his design. Sick or not.
I have no doubt that it makes power, I felt it and proved it for myself with a few runs against my friends mustang, but his greed and poor choice in materials is what makes this intake a POS.

I saw awhile back that somebody else at MF was doing the Cobra lowers now. I forget who it was.

Wasn't posi, was it? IIRC he does lower porting as well as blower porting, and he does top notch work

The owners of this forum need to pay attention and close this section down. He has ripped off people in excess of thousands....

I think we should leave it up until he responds. Let his reputation be tarnished by this forum and threads.

Atleast take his site down so no one purchases anything.

I believe a mod also said that as a vendor, he paid up for a certain amount of time to be listed. To honor contractual obligations and avoid needless repurcussions, best to leave it be. I think just about every Ford site knows about it...

I guess than it's a bit crazy to mention the possibility of them using the remaining money left from his vendorship to go to the members who had to make repairs to fix the product???

I think he went into hiding. He would have a huge backlash if he popped up again.

LMAO at this one. It is absolutely true in my experience, never put a wrench in someones hands who punches a keyboard for a living.
