Are you talking about the K&N that fits into the stock air box?

Sounds like he wants the CAI.

Gonna do visual/fitment comparison or dyno testing? Just curious, I don't have one but I'm sure somebody on here would loan one out for a comprehensive comparison.

I was going to do a before and after dyno tune of them both as well as drive on it for a while and see if there are any differences.

I have had both and currently have the K&N on mine.

JLT wins for sound

K&N for fit and finish

I cant tell any difference in performance. But I am not a dyno.

On a supercharged Marauder, I picked up a 1/2lb of boost switching to the JLT from the K&N. I also switched over to the JLT for bling purposes...polished blower, gloss black cam covers, and gloss black JLT.

The K&N was an eyesore once the blower went in. The fitment of the K&N was 100% better than the JLT IMO though. The JLT contacts the headliner, and when it gets hot, the headliner will melt and stain your metal JLT fastners...which has also become an eyesore. I'll deal with it to keep that extra 1/2lb of boost though.
