So I turned on my heat this morning and the fan would not blow any air unless its at full blast. the temperature controls still work i can make it blow either hot or cold but the blower only has the high speed. The fan control on the steering wheel does not do anything either, just the temp control. I hardly drive this car in the winter, it seems like everytime i let it sit for a few weeks there's a new problem lol. :mad2:

You need a heater relay, IMO.

Check with Krytin I believe he had a similar problem 2 years ago at Carlisle and he solved it right then and there.

Ok, I had the same problem! Blower quit, I changed the blower motor speed controller, and things worked as advertised. operationally checked in the drive way for about a minute then decided to take her for a quick spin. The blower quit again by the top of the street!!! Less than a 1/4 mile. I understand the reason that the controller goes out is normally the amperage draw of a fading blower motor???
As much fun as changing that part was and as excited I am about spending another 70 bucks and changing it again,..... can anyone confirm my logic here??
Help please!

I changed mine about 4-5 months ago, and no problems since.

Mine 'froze' up one cold morning recently, though it worked fine the night before. A firm tab with the butt end of my Maglight and the blower started working right away. Hasn't happened again since then.

If you have to replace the blower motor you may also need an adapter pigtail.

The fan in mine went out too. It was a "resistor" that cost about @ $200 with labor. Been fine ever since.

Your EATC needs to be taken apart, install some good o-rings inside the solonids. Save yourself $600 bucks. then heat (and A/C) will work everywhere!
There is a sticky on this common problem.
