I have a marauder that has no motor or trans in it and i am about to ship it. Before i ship it i have to put the windows up. Is there any way to do this without removing all 4 door panels? I tryed just hooking a battery up, that was a no go. Also tryed jumping the main window switch connector and that didnt work, maybe i did it wrong.

Should work with a battery installed and key turned to acc or run.

could it be that the battery was grounded to the motor before and since its out you have no ground? i cant remember where the battery was grounded when i relocated it plus, im not great with electric. just a thought

+1 ground, But if you jumpered the window motor correctly "not the switch" it should not be a problem?

Try connecting a jumper wire from the battery negative post to the chassis. Maybe the battery grounds to the engine, then the engine grounds to the chassis? With the engine gone the circuit is open?
