On the way home from work yesterday, I spotted a white Dodge P/U stalled on the two lane highway, right at the entrance of my subdivision.
I turned off the highway and pulled off the road, as much as I could.
A passer by in another truck, pulled up next to him as I stopped, to see why he was blocking both lanes.
The passer by drove off after a moment or two, so I got out and went to see if I could help.
I asked him if he wanted to try and push it off the main road to safety,
He said , "I don't think that is possible, it should start with a jump".
he continued, " Do you have jumper cables?"
I replied, "Yes!, they are short but they should work"
I was very nervous pulling the Marauder out on the middle of the highway, because the roads were very slippery with the butt ton of snow we got all day.
With the flashers going, I waited till I had a clear shot and pulled the mighty Merc into position for the task.
Well it took several turns to get the Dodge to continue on its way, but it finally stayed running.
I asked if I could follow him home to insure his safe return , he replied , "Sure!"
We both drove the remaining few blocks to get to his destination and it turns out to be the brother of one of my neighbors.
As I continued home, I notice my driveway and walkway all nicely shoveled.

What are you doing up at 4:45 am anyway? Did you get up early or were you up all night partying with the Mrs.?

You still working at Motor Werks? I'll drop in and act like a customer so I can take out a couple Mercedes and Beemers and beat on them.:banana2:

Good job. Just be careful doing this. People get hit doing this kind of stuff all the time. And I especially would be reluctant to help somebody with a Chrysler!:P

Brad you're the MAN! A good deed never goes unpaid or unnoticed, and when a good deed is done unto me I always return the favor and pay it forward to someone else too. Keeps the cycle going!
