View Full Version : valve covers done
I sanded them smooth took all the casting marks out and painted them ford blue. On the coil cover I polished them but decided I liked the brushed Aluminum look on the blue. Before I get flamed for the bolts I throw them in just to hold them there for now:). Looks a little better than you saw them last time Pops. I just found these online for $39 shipped http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=5 33cPath=5 just ordered a set not sure how I want to paint them. Thinking maybe red letters and the brushed look.

Thank God for air sanders and a Dremel. If I had to do it by hand I would have gave up. I still think you have one of the best engine bays I have seen

Love 'em!
PM fastblackmerc for pics of his Ford Racing coil covers, IIRC, he's got the lettering painted in blue and red.
The lettering on mine is done in black, courtesy of blackmobile.
