Actually, it's not a "real" oil gauge, more like a fancy version of an idiot light.

understand that, how does the gauge pod come out?
"...To remove the gauge pod, first put the shifter in “D”, to allow for clearance (I don’t REALLY have to tell you about setting the parking brake, or chocking the wheels, do I?). Grasp the “wings” of the gauge pod and pull firmly downward and slightly forward…it’s secured with those “alligator” clips. Once it’s loose, rotate the wings toward the floor and pull the entire unit forward and up…you’ll see what it needs…you may have to jockey it around a little to clear the console. Once the gauge pod is free and clear, simply unplug the 3 connectors, then you can remove the whole unit to your favorite workbench area. Don’t worry about which connector is which; they’re all different, so you can’t mix them up..."

Welcome and don't waste your $$$'s on a "Jet Module".......you will fare far better with SCT or Diablo tuners......very flexible and can modify trans shifting very well!!
Look for tuners in a search and sit back and read everything you need to know!!!:D

Marauderjack, I appreciate any and all advise, but is there a reason for not liking the Jet module?

Welcome! You've got the best Marauder tuner in your back yard. Check with Lidio at Alternative Automotive over on Gratiot. I couldn't believe the difference, best money ever spent!

I had a couple in CV's.....VERY GENERIC....and all I could tell was the trans pressures were up and it shifted harder....besides that....nothing as far as performance is concerned??:shake:
Spend a few extra $$$$'s and get a tuner that allows you to make some changes.....customize to your liking!! Down the road as you add mods you can make adjustments for your mods as well!!:banana2:
