I have the choice to buy back my car or let the insurance company take it. If someone here needs an engine or other larger part it will make it will be an easier decision since I can only store it for a short amount of time.

The car is 100% stock.

Last week I replaced the Wiper motor, These are the only pics I have of after the accident. If there is enough interest in parts I will buy it back It had 97K miles. I am in the market for another MM!

The car is gone I have a handful of parts I will be selling.

How are the rear tires, front shocks and springs?

How many miles are on the car?

I am not sure if I am going to part with the tires (Kumho 255/55/18's) practically new. they were purchased at 95K. I believe they are the KH16 series. but the shocks are good, there are a lot of highway miles on it.

LOL I don't think so. There is not a more un-cool car on the road than the current, plain grand marq. The car has run its course and the current nose, headlights, and the flattened off rear bumper cover just complete a really tacky package. The Marauder was so special because it made a very tacky, un cool model, cool and collectible. That, is a feat.

It is still up in the air with insurance, I will let everyone know what is happening as soon as I do

Just a reminder guys he does not have the car yet. So you should not think you can buy any parts yet as this deal has noy gone yet!

Can't believe the insurance company totalled the Marauder. I see about 6 Grand in repairs What a bummer.

Just since lately the values have tanked.

I hate seeing them totalled like this. Problem is that it costs so much to have them professionally repaired. If you can do your own work, you can get either bumper cover and have it painted, then install it yourself for well under $1000 (last time I replaced the wife's rear it was about $500). If you have time, you can pull the bumper cover into position and drive with it boogered up until you find one in a junkyard that's already the right color. Header panel, maybe $300. Lights, $50 for headlights and $40 for corner lights, a bit more for taillights.

I'd have kept both this one and Landy's and fixed them.

GMQ is not targeted towards the same crowd as MM's are/were, its meant to be a big, comfortable car without much emphasis on looks and none on performance. And I wanted to buy a newer crown vic, but the fly by wire throttle kills it for me. MM all the way.

can u cut the roof so i can get welded it my 03?

Wouldn't need the whole roof, just the moonroof, headliner, trim pieces, shorty OH console and wiring.

Actually, better off going aftermarket.

Of course, instead of being aimed at people who were 80, it was aimed at people who were 70 and wanted to "relive the old days" of big slow loud land yachts...

The first marauder i looked at was owned by an 84 year old man that lost his license in the car from running a light and getting T-boned... Old people DID buy marauders, when it came out they were the only ones that could have afforded it...

Mods let's lock this thread. The car has already been taken by the insurance company and sold at auction twice since it was posted.
