Until I get a new head unit, I'm going to use line level convertors to run RCA cables to my new amps. I'm going to have to "get into" the factory harness. Does anyone have a diagram of the factory harness? Or could someone just decode the speaker wires?

Easy. Stop, don't pass go. Head to crutchfield.com, they have a harness adapter that takes all the guess work out of it.
I bought it and it fits right nicely... :)
Click HERE (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-oxosrxEHKnt/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=11&g=103000&I=120705520&o=m&a=1&cc=01&avf=Y) to get yours...
If you're feeling extra swanky, you can hookup your factory steering wheel radio buttons to your aftermarket deck with this unit... Click HERE (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-iRcRZcuCAl4/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=11&g=118900&I=127SWIX&o=m&a=1&cc=01&avf=Y)
You're welcome... :)

Yup, that would do it, but, I'm keeping the factory head unit for now. I have to splice into the factory harness for the speakers only. Everything else stays connected. The speaker wires will go into the line level convertors to make them 1 ml. volt RCA

If you do a search on speakers, or something similar, you should find a post with the color code in it. If you can't locate it, PM me and I'll send it to you tonight when I get home. Don't have the manual with me at work. Won't be home till after 5 PM EST.

Ok, I am in the process of doing a little research so I can hook up an aftermarket amp and sub. Being as anal as I am about modifying anything I found this. http://www.scosche.com/scosche/connectors/ford-premium.asp
It appears you plug this into the back of your factory stereo and go directly to your amp(s). Looks like it makes for a very clean installation.

None of those adapters from Scosche are correct for the 2003 Premium stereos. The connectors were changed for 2003, and many of the aftermarket parts makers haven't caught up. Just make absolutely sure before you buy.
