I got some res delete 4" Tips I want to put on my stock exhaust, I need the old tips back and in good shape for a friend who wants to buy them for his CV.

How much $ should this cost?

I had a 1 1/2" extension welded on my 4" tips along with bolt-up flanges that allow me to swap out the res-delete with the OEM tips. I think the total was around $150 or so for parts and the work on both sets of tips and the install.

Basically the tail pipe goes in about another 8-10" is all and a crush gasket between the pipe and the cone. Really easy job to make your own res. delete's.

Actually, the res-delete tips don't make it much louder, just a more mellow, pronounced tone.

However, if you swap out the OEM mufflers for Magnaflowa, etc., it will get louder.

Really though, I cannot find a video if a stock exhaust with res delete tips. I have heard them described as throaty, mellow, deeper, pronounced, solid.

Anyone got a Stock exhaust with res delete tips only and made a video?

I keep hearing that, Really I bought the 4" res delete tips for the looks, so any exhaust tone difference is just a bonus.

I have vids from when my car had stock tips and then another after the deletes. I had magnaflows and 2.5" pipe though oh and 2 high flow cats, I'll try to remember to put them on youtube

I am considering on getting this done. I have a set of tips sitting in my closet for over a year now.

Brian, I think you'll like the difference. Suggest extending the tips out an inch and a half or so to eliminate cabin drone at about 2,200 rpm.

Well as soon as it warms up I will get my rear cats removed and the Tips installed. I think thats as gnarly as I want my exhaust for now.
