Well plan and simple I’ve been offered the opportunity to purchase a Trilogy Kit. I just refuse to pass it up. Talk about being AMPed. So my change of plan can be an opportunity for someone else. Ya, I'm on the fence atm.. I think I'm going to have a sweet (damn near nothing) deal on a procharger, except I'm going to need a bracket (it was on a 2v). I'm going to know more next week.. otherwise I would have grabbed the conversion brackets when I grabbed the injectors..

I really want to do an eaton swap, but this will probably be the cheaper route for me at the moment. I'm getting ready to dump a crazy amount of money on a build-up, so I've gotta keep an eye on my finances ;)

it adds up, trust me lol. i bought a 1200 dollar short block thinking id get it in the car for under 2k. WRONG. now im just waiting to get the money together. i may wait and try to pay the car off instead, i duno.

I hear ya, my plans keep getting bigger and bigger..

It started with "Well, I need to forge the bottom end so I can make some big power later" and now I'm looking at a stroker kit.

Then a killer deal on a port and polish for the heads/intake turned into "hm, I should do the valvetrain too"

and then "man, the motor is coming out and I have this build up/rebuild kit for the transmission, I should do that too and replace the TC"

Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I've got the mod-flu.. and I don't think there is a vaccine for that.. lol

Should be all good with the 98 cobra cover, seeing as it's thing guys go to to use the steel tensioners, and best to my memory that's the bracket I ended up with... then again Procharger may do their own thing. Quick phone call solves all issues though

Haha...its a safety mechanism back in the day people would log onto a forum they got booted from and with 1 post flood the forum with 200-300 useless posts and pm's with special kiddie software they downloaded...this way the admins can get to know you a little, you should be able to email him plus he checks this thread often he'll see you post.

I started reading posts on here about a month ago as I was intrigued by the Trilogy setup, since I'm doing a similar setup on my 65 4.6 DOHC. I guess I'll go troll for info (and parts) somewhere else. Good luck with selling the conversion brackets.
