about a month ago I sanded my headlamps down because of extreme pitting. ford must of put some kind of coating on the lenses because holy were they tuff to wet sand till I got through some kind of coating then they were easy to sand lol but anyways I got them to look brand new, not a pit or anything but now I noticed they scratch alot easier so I must of sanded off some kind of protective coating :mad2: so I was thinking about polishing them up again and clearcoating them. then wet sand the clearcoat with 2000 gritt sandpaper and polish it to a gloss. i'm just not sure if that plan will work... anyone?
